Together with researchers at the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), we have established the newest Global Science Node at the Research Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (RCNN) in Indonesia.

This new center, led by Profs. Hermawan Dipojono and Brian Yuliarto, will focus its efforts on undertaking the challenge of preparing MOFs for several applications including chemical and biosensors, water treatment, and drug delivery. The group places a primary emphasis on recruiting emerging scholars in order to mentor the next generation of scientific leaders in Indonesia.

A new research publication is out in the Journal of the American Chemical Society, which resulted from a trilateral collaboration between three of the global science nodes: UC Berkeley, SuNaLab (Argentina), and KACST (Saudi Arabia). The research reported in this publication provided a deeper insight into the mechanism of capturing carbon dioxide under dry and wet conditions by alkylamine appended MOFs.

Congratulations on this global collaboration!
