MANAR Ph.D. student Ha Lac Nguyen was voted as one of 10 "Vietnamese Exemplary Young Citizens 2016". As a result, Ha made a trip to Hanoi to have a meeting with and be congratulated by Prime Minister Phuc Xuan Nguyen. Their discussion centered on what Vietnam should do to develop the economy, science, education, and other items of concern in Viet Nam.
Ha acknowledged him for his support of Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh and the MANAR program. In addition, Ha voiced his hope that the Prime Minister and Minister of Education would continue to support MANAR's research and the young researchers in Viet Nam for carrying out impactful science.
