His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, honored BGSI’s Founding Director, Prof. Omar M. Yaghi, with the “Mohammed Bin Rashid Medal for Scientific Excellence” for his lifetime achievements in scientific research. The award was presented to Prof. Yaghi in the presence of Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The award is the highest Emirati scientific honor, which highlights scholars and their achievements and enhancing their status in the community.
