To start his visit, Prof. Yaghi participated in the Air Products Industrial Gases Technology Symposium at Dhahran Techno Valley as a leading panelist on hydrogen economy and gave the opening technical lecture on "Reticular Chemistry to Harness Hydrogen, Methane, Carbon Dioxide, and Water". The next two days were filled with research discussions with the team as well as the successful Ph.D. degree defense of our first student, Mahmoud Abdelnaby. The visit culminated in a visit to Saudi Aramco to present on the team's exciting progress in developing new materials for CO2 capture and utilization applications.

We are very grateful for Saudi Aramco's support and are very excited about the prospects of a continued, successful partnership for years to come!
