Prof. Yaghi Visits Saudi Aramco and KFUPM Team

May 10, 2018

Prof. Omar M. Yaghi visited the Saudi Aramco CO2 Capture and Utilization Chair team at KFUPM as a part of ongoing efforts to perform innovative, high impact research in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During his visit, Prof. Yaghi met with counterparts at Saudi Aramco to present the team's progress in developing new materials for CO2 capture and utilization applications. Prof. Yaghi also met with the KFUPM team to discuss research progress and to provide scientific mentoring and guidance.

The KFUPM team continues to grow and we look forward to welcoming two new post-doctoral scholars this year. The research progress is moving along steadily with high impact reports being published this year (Nature Materials and Journal of Materials Chemistry A) and with several more currently being prepared for submission.  We are very grateful for Saudi Aramco's support and are very excited for the prospects of a continued, successful partnership for years to come!
